About Performance Edge
Performance Edge Dance Academy is a family owned and operated dance studio located in Smeaton Grange, Sydney NSW. Performance Edge was established by sisters Hayley and Erin Hughes, who opened their doors in 2019, with the goal to ensure both quality and entertaining dance education is provided to the next generation.
Hayley and Erin both began dancing at young ages performing all around the world but soon quickly learnt that teaching was where their love and passion was! Erin is a fully qualified Primary School Teacher obtaining a Bachelor of Primary Education and both sisters are BAL trained and qualified with a Cert III in Dance Teaching.
Safety is a top priority of the studio which is why every member of Performance Edge has a valid Working with Children Check and is First Aid certified.
At Performance Edge we offer a wide range of dance styles for all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking for a competition studio offering dance examinations and performances in regular dance eisteddfods or a recreational studio offering fun after school activities, Performance Edge can cater to all needs. We offer classes for preschool aged students with our Performance Petites Combo, Petites Ballet and Petites Tumbling; and school aged students - Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Acro, Technique, Troupe and Private lessons.
