FIND YOUR TEEN CLASS
At Performance Edge we love to offer fun and encouraging dance classes for all ages and abilities. If our troupe team classes are not for you then our fun recreational classes are perfect!
For our junior recreational students we offer weekly dance classes in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop & Lyrical. All our classes are 30min each and are offered on multiple days of the week to help fit everyones schedules.
All our recreational students get the opportunity to perform in our fun end of year concert for which students start learning their routines during Term 3. All recreational classes are designed to ensure students have fun while learning and developing new skills.

- TEEN JAZZ: Jazz is definitely one of the most commonly known and sought after dance styles. Jazz can have many different ranges from broadway, which is commonly seen in stage shows, to commercial jazz, which is most commonly seen on TV and in music videos. Jazz is the perfect combination of technique, coordination and choreography perfect for all ages and abilities!
- TEEN HIP HOP: Hip Hop is known to be the most free, funky and hard hitting style of dance. Hip Hop incorporates the popping, locking and isolating movements of the body to create a unique but funky sense of movement. Our hip hop classes are definitely a high interest class per week.
- TEEN TAP: Tap is by far the noisiest and most fun style of dance! Students learn to create different rhythms and sounds with the use of their feet by wearing tap shoes that have metal plates on the toes and heels to create those sounds. It is a fun and exciting form of dance that constantly keeps the dancer thinking.

6:15 - 6:45PM - TEEN HIP HOP {school years 9+}
6:45 - 7:15PM - TEEN TAP {school years 9+}
